Thermodilation Microwave Therapy
This treatment will shrink the prostrate by heating it with microwave energy. The energy is administered by a catheter, which is inserted through the urethra and is in position during the treatment for about 40 minutes. The advantage of this option is that it can be completed in the office under local anesthesia or sedation and does not require preoperative blood work or imaging studies.
